MINISTRY for the POOR:
God has opened a great door for his servants to go out in our community to minister to the poor and the homeless. Their is no greater joy to do this because he has saved us by His sacrifice. We could never repay this debt by any works, just believe and be thankful for all He has done and continues to do for us. This ministry is designed to help those in need and to distribute to their needs. In mind of that, we will serve these people with joy and with love just like the Lord loves and serves us. The ultimate goal is to bring the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ to the poor and homeless in a matter that would bring all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. AMEN.
City of Faith’s Set Free Prison Ministry reaches out to inmates in New Mexico prisons with Biblical correspondence courses. We offer courses in both English and Spanish. The courses start at a simple level and go up to college level studies. We start with lessons on salvation in Jesus Christ. Our courses include detailed studies into many of the books of the Bible. We exchange these courses with the inmates by mail with all mailing and course purchase costs covered by donations. The courses all have tests that are mailed back to us by the inmates where volunteers grade them and provide Biblical counseling back to the inmates. Inmates receive certificates for completed courses and a Bible if they request one.
We meet every Sunday at 9:30 before service for a time of prayer.
